HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER The KDL Group in Fort St. James, BC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager of Human Resources. Recognizing that our employees are our most important asset, this position will drive our success by supporting our people and allowing them to excel. Reporting to the VP of Finance and Administration the successful candidate will develop, manage, and execute human resource plans and initiatives across our divisions, with key responsibilities to include: -Recruitment, Retention, Policy, & Administration -Training & Performance -Compensation & Benefits -Integration & Change Management -Reporting Metrics & Systems -Strategic Relationships Experience & Qualifications: -Minimum of 10+ years of broad Human Resources management experience, preferably in forestry or resource industries -Proven supervisory experience and people management, with over 5+ years in leading high-performing HR teams. -Background in change management & integration -HR information management, reporting, and key metrics analysis, as well as a variety of HR applications. -Experience leading change in growing organizations and across a group of different companies in different geographic locations. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: -Post-secondary education in business, human resources management, or organizational effectiveness -CHRP/CHRL certification -Expert understanding of The Employment Standards Act, applicable BC laws/regulations, Common Law application to HR issues. -Knowledge of First Nations culture considered an asset -Strong understanding of Health and safety regulations -Experience interpreting Provincial laws and regulations and providing proactive guidance to senior management Please forward your resume and cover letter to Donald Player at Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
